3D Projector
Watching 3D films was once an experience that could only be appreciated at theme parks or special IMAX theatres. Recently however electronic manufactures have been hard at work producing cheap and reliable components for a huge range of 3D TVs and projectors. Meaning home cinema enthusiasts can really bring the cinema experience home.
3D films of late have been majorly successful at the box office with films such as ‘Toy Story 3′ and ‘Avatar’ becoming some of the highest grossing films of all time. Due to these successes Hollywood is supporting and pushing the move to incorporate 3D technology across the broad. The growing number of 3D Blu-ray titles and 3D television channels means that consumers are soon to be engrossed with 3D content.
A projector can produce a much larger screen size than any available LCD TV with no loss of quality, also with 3D projectors nothing else comes close to reliving the cinema experience in your own home.
Currently the commercially available technology for 3D is limited by the need for every user to wear a set of 3D glasses. With the glasses the screen is refocused, this gives the illusion of 3D to the wearer. A large group of users begrudge wearing the glasses and sadly there is no quick fix to this issue however, several large organizations are working on 3D TV’s where glasses are not required.
3D projectors are the latest piece of technology that people can buy to complete their home theater setups, but, is it all just a big over priced fad? No matter what you think there are some impressive advantages to owning a 3D TV, making it a must have gadget for 2010.
